Event Description
The Shelby County Farm Bureau is offering it's members a new approach to farm succession and farm business planning through their Iowa Farm Bureau's Take Root Program.

This program is a series of two, 3-hour workshops that examine real-life success stories. Topics for both days include: Communicating with family members; Working with multiple generations; Trust vs. Will within your estate plan; Building your advisory team; Preparing for and conducting family meetings; and Developing a vision and goals for the farm.
Each workshop provides different information. Dinner will be provided. Registration is free for Farm Bureau meembers and $55 for non-members. To register, please contact the Shelby County Farm Bureau at 712-755-5145 by Friday, June 2. Space is limted so be sure to register today.
