This is the 2nd annual Water, Women, and Wine, August 23 - 25, between Nisha Bend Recreation Area and Prairie Rose State Park.

Details
Friday evening: Prairie Rose - practice up on your kayaking skills. Then head to Nisha Bend to make bee houses.
Saturday: spend the day kayaking on the Nishnabotna River from Nishna Bend to Botna Bend. Saturday evening there will be a wine tasting with Iowa Wines and More followed by a bonfire.
Sunday morning: head to Prairie Rose to learn about wild edibles.
Conclude with Dutch oven cooking for lunch. The cost for the entire weekend it $75 other rates are available for individual days.
