Take a step back in time in September, and spend the day (or weekend) at a working early 1990’s farmstead! This is our 41st annual show! A family outing with a unique historic lesson around every corner awaits you and your family.
We are located at the intersection of Country roads F24 and M47 in Irwin 24 miles north of I-80.
See a working windmill, blacksmith shop, grist mill, and sorghum mill. Watch as brooms are being made and enjoy homemade ice cream and two stages of live music. Watch field demonstration of wheat/oat threshing, oat hulling and corn shelling.
There is also a talent show and a Birds of Prey presentation.
Don’t forget the kids. We have pedal tractor pulls, pony rides, train rides, petting zoo, rope making, and an awesome hay maze.
Take a walk through the flea market full of crafts and antiques, enjoy the homemade goodies from the food stand, see a parade each day, as well as a quilt show.
Camping (small fee for electricity) and handicap parking are available.
All this for only $5 for both days and children under 6 are free. Call 712.766.3545 for more info.
