Hours of Operation4:00 PM to 6:30 PM every Wednesday.
In Iowa, 1 in every 8 people struggle with hunger (Foodbank for the Heartland). Young and old, urban and rural, these people worry each day if they will go to bed hungry again. Iowa Community Kitchen, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to helping fight hunger while bringing the city of Harlan and Shelby County together as a community. Iowa Community Kitchen is a 100% volunteer organization. We are staffed through individual, group and organization volunteers.
WHAT WE DO: Offer a nutritious meal and community fellowship, open to all who walk through our door, once a week.
WHEN: Every Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Delivery service is also available for those who cannot leave their homes to attend.
WHERE: First Baptist Church, 1325 Chatburn Avenue, Harlan IA
